Electronic Frontier Foundation’s RIAA Petition

If you love MP3’s and enjoy filesharing then take a look at this website’s petition against the RIAA and its bullshit privacy invasion policies.

http://www.eff.net/share/petition/

The RIAA has violated who knows how many peoples privacy and issued over 200 subpoenas to ISP’s for filesharer’s personal information. These subpoenas were only legal within the Washington DC area, yet they sent them to ISP’s whose customers reside outside their legal jurisdiction.

I wager the bulk of a CD’s cost goes to support the RIAA. Abolish the RIAA and CD prices may fall within reason and they would be no need for any type of piracy.

Support the ISP’s which reject these illegal subpoenas by signing this petition from the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
