Wonderful Meal
Me and Elli spent a bit of time figuring out what we wanted for dinner. We knew we wanted to use some white fish we had in the freezer. And looking at somethings which we had made a few days ago we put together the following meal:
Lemon & pepper’d white fish served atop a toasted and seasoned (garlic & paprika) slice of Irish soda bread. Finished with a nice herbal bechamel sauce (dill, oregano, basil) with slices of pickled beet.
It was divine.
For anyone who has not had Irish Soda Bread, I suggest you buy some of the dry mix and make a loaf. It gives very well to a desert bread by addition of golden raisins and topped with crushed pineapple, or for breakfast try some yogurt on top or even sprinkles of the bread on yogurt.
