Semagic & WinXP SP2 RC1 Probs

Well after downloading and installing WinXP Service Pack 2 (Release Candidate 2), I noticed that none of the past few versions of Semagic would run without giving me an error. After reading up about the problem from Semagic’s SourceForge page, I read about a work-around for the problem.

You have to have LJ login set to Never Expire and then you run Semagic and click “Just Edit” and then go to View then Options then Advanced tab and check Use URL Moniker and click Okay and LiveJournal and Exit. Restart Semagic and it should work as usual. Thanks SourceForge and your loyal users for this work-around.

WinXP SP2 is really nice, I like how it blocks pictures from being automatically displayed in Outlook Express. This prevents spammers from verifying your email address so they can spam you even harder.

I had a great day, I cleaned up the kitchen and then prepared Poke Sallet which is a native dish to my area, it is made of a somewhat toxic plant Phytolacca americana (Poke weed). You have to boil and rinse the greens atleast twice and then you drain and scramble with eggs. Incredibly good dish. I also baked two golden vanilla cakes from scratch and am contemplating icing as they cool.
