Reviewing Amazon Book Commentaries
Stupidity should be fatal.
I can’t believe the airheads who purchase “A Witches’ Bible: The Complete Witches Handbook” by Janet & Stewart Farrar and complain at it being a bad book. If these assholes actually understood that without a proper initiation into the craft they should not even use the term Wiccan or Wicca. These terms are used only for the followers of the path published by Gerald Gardner and adopted by Alexandrians.
Here is a review at amazon.com for the book:
1 Star – This book SUCKS, July 8, 2001
Reviewer: Alicia E. Kearns from CA USA
I HATED this book. It is horrible as an introduction to wicca or witchcraft. This book left me scared. It has funky pictures of naked people from the 70s doing wierd satanic-looking things. This book reminds me of articles about Anton LeVey without the kitsch. I do not recommend this book to anybody, and especially urge people new to the craft to stay away from this book. It freaked me out.
This Alicia person should avoid any interest in Wicca if she is not adult enough to handle it. The book details Wicca for those interested in it. She perhaps should be reading something by Silver Raven Wolf’s instead. This is like someone bitching that wasabi is wrong because it is hot. Hell it’s wasabi it’s meant to be hot.
Stupidity should be fatal.
