I have growing concerns about the future of our society as a whole.
I am also quite curious when it became fashionable to feign stupidity.
When did we go from a community with a village idiot, to a village of idiots?
Some how it has become fashionable to put our worst foot forward, to not shine but be duller than charcoal, and to hide the desirable qualities such as honor and intelligence beneath a trenchcoat of sub-mediocrity.
Saddening indeed the day has become when people lay down a sharp sword of intelligence to take up the blunted club of stupidity.
When information can be transmitted into peoples homes/offices/schools/libraries at the speed of light and packing upwards of a hundred thousand bytes of data a second and yet people seem so dumbed down. When virtually all the worlds information isn’t reserved for scholars but is in the hands of the masses, and yet we seem to be de-evolving as a people.
Things have changed, and I don’t see it as to the betterment of humanity.
