Me and () had our first tomato from our garden today.  It was truly incredibly sweet tasting and nothing like the ones I am used to purchasing from the supermarket.  I truly understand the value of truly vine-ripened tomatos now.

Oh a tip about tomatoes is that cold destroys enzymes in the tomato which provide flavour.  If you chill a tomato it will physically change colour but it will not have the flavour of one that has never been chilled.  So keep ya tomatoes out of the fridge and always above 50°F (10°C).
