Chai
Back in Australia at the Wendy Rule concert me and Elli sampled an incredible beverage from Indonesia/India called Chai. It’s absolute heaven.
We visited Big Lots and they had this one package of Chai concentrate which turned out to be incredible. Never had a beverage this delicious.

Last night I decided to see how close I could get to the taste of their Chai. And I came close…very close.
Here is my recipe for Oregon Chai
2 Black Tea Bags
2 Cups Boiling Water
2 Cups Whole Milk
¼ tsp Ground Cinnamon
¼ tsp Ground Cloves
1/16 tsp Ground Nutmeg
4 tbs Sugar
Steep teabags in the boiling water, stirring periodically.
Add the spices and sugar and stir.
Remove the teabags and allow to steep 5 mins.
Add the milk to the tea mixture and serve either hot or cold.
You can keep the tea mixture seperate from the milk and use at a later date.
Do keep it refrigerated in an airtight container.
