Fondue et Chai
I prepared a rather nice cheese fondue tonight with some crusty bread that I had made day earlier, also made a nice big teapot full of chai.
My recipe for chai is as follows:
1 teabag orange pekoe black tea
¼tsp Cloves powder
¼tsp Cinnamon powder
1/8tsp Nutmeg powder
1 whole Green Cardamom Pod (crush if you desire a stronger citrus flavour)
Simply unstaple the teabag and insert the spices (save cardamom pod), fold the bag up a bit and staple together again.
Boil water and add teabag and cardamom pod, steep for a few minutes. Add one or two tbs sugar to each teacup and pour half full with tea. Finish filling the teacup with milk, stir and serve 🙂
