Christmas Eve in the Pace residence.

Well today started early, me and Elli arose at around 8am.  By 9am we had our 15.3lb turkey upside down in an oven bag beginning a long journey towards my delight.

My old art professor Joe and wonderful friend showed up with quite a few surprises:

Two great monitors, three or four computers, an absolutely exquisite collection of his stunning pottery, some treats, and a nice bottle of brandy.

We sent him on his way with my best bottle of vintage meade and a pretty tin full of freshly made french fudge, oh and a christmas card, with a reminder he should pick his present up from college.

I had a nice nap which was good after such a late night and early start of today.

We have so far finished preparing the turkey, cole slaw, fudge, and potato salad (and all was well).

So next will be the vegetarian dressing which is always a winner on our table.

More to come.

Whew we finished 2 large skillets of Dressing and more fudge.

We have potatos and carrots on roasting.

More to come…
Yorkshire Puddings are done and incredible.
Roasted Veggies are great as well
Brandy Butter *yum yum*

More yet to come.
