Feline Ear Mites
The best solution to kill feline ear mites is to use a few drops of sterile extra virgin olive oil in each ear followed by a good massage of the ear to work the oil evenly into the area. The mites are basically suffocated by the oil that will coat their bodies.
My grandparents often kept a bottle of “sweet oil” around for ear aches which is nothing more than sterile olive oil.
I love how the bottles of feline ear miticide is ridiculously pricey and yet in most formulations is nothing more than olive oil.
There is virtually no limit to what you can do with a nice bottle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
It’s so good I chug a good cup of it a day. *just kidding*
