Kittens

Well one set of our kittens turned 7 weeks old yesterday, so I decided to introduce them to the porch for a bit, so they can get used to the sounds of nature.

Their names are (from left to right); Darjeeling von Teacup, Pavel, Henchmon Higenbotham.

Sorry. Kittens and other bits of fluffy cuteness turn me into a squeeing crazy person.

Oh dear they are so cute. And they all mismatch which is awesome. Last litter I took care of were three stripey and two torties. The torties were only easy to tell apart because they were so different in size (one was the runt and the other the biggest kitten). But the stripeys had to be told apart by personality until we were brave enough to discover what sex each was.

We actually have four other kittens which are somewhat difficult to distinguish, they are a mixture of calico and tabby.

Here is a few of my wife’s photos of them:

Oh the black and white one is the bravest and most energetic of them all. She is pure attitude in a small package, and quite a poser. Her whiskers are sooo long and noticeable.
