LiveJournal & Instant Messaging
I noticed today when I went to edit my LJ profile that users now can instant message their LJ friends with any Jabber client software.
For years I have been using Trillian Pro instant messaging client software because it is a single piece of software that lets me instant message people on MSN/AIM/ICQ/IRC and Jabber. So instead of having to run MSN Messenger, AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, mIRC, GoogleTalk, I just load Trillian.
So if you use say GoogleTalk or any other Jabber compatible software you can set it to login to livejournal and it will enable you to instant message any of your LJ friends who also are using the service, you also can do LJ posts via Jabber.
