Chickpeas, How I Adore Thee!

Tomorrow is an open gallery at Artists’ Attic for Kristen Zink a local High School teacher.

The gallery is hung, and we decided our menu. I made a delicious home made hummus and mini-falafels (¾” diameter). We also decided to do a cheese platter with three different cheeses, grapes, olives, tapenade, pita chips, tiny sausages, and a variety of sauces for dipping.

Elli made her famous chocolate chip cookies, which really are the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever tried, both commercial and home made.

    They are excellent in a flour tortilla, with thin shreds of red onion, lettuce, tomato, and a thin yoghurt sauce.
